Happy Mother's Day

Today is mother's day!  I noticed that the stray cat who lives outside gotten suddenly very THIN (aka, I need to go on a kitten hunt later today).  I also made my mom a waffle brunch with the new waffle maker I bought her for mother's day.

I posted a new buttermilk waffle recipe on my OSF.  I made buttermilk waffles with fresh strawberries, blueberries, homemade whipped cream and maple syrup.

Mmmmmm.  Waffles.  I will freeze the leftovers and eat them FOREVER.
